I was apprehensive about buying my first new car, however with Barry from Melville Subaru it was actually a really easy and fun experience. He took the extra time to explain the technical and contractual details I was unsure about and genuinely attempted to get me a good deal with some extras during a period where the market was not in the buyers favour. More like a friend then a cars salesman.I love my Forester Sports, it arrived on time and all promises kept, except the Subaru hat which Barry promises to get me for the one month service.The Melville Subaru store also had a welcoming, unpretentious and generous with complimentary coffee and biscuits.Highly recommend.

At the start of our experience we knew which car we wanted and straight away Oliver was happy to help, he was upbeat, not pushy and answered all our questions. We were allowed a test drive and time to speak privately to make a decision.When we decided we wanted the car, he immediately took us to his desk and began walking us through the steps and what to expect in this process. After some hardcore and lengthy negotiating (sorry not sorry!) we got a price we were happy with and signed. The good service didn't stop after that though, which showed he was customer experience not just customer service.When going through the financing I want to give a huge shout out to Sharon, I was nervous as I'd never financed a car or had a loan but she was calming and explained all my many, many questions. Sharon kept me up to date in the process and I got to pick up my car the next day.I got a bow on the car and a bottle of wine, as well as Oliver got the service guys to check out the water in the headlights which concerned us.
